Football and MLM with Organo Gold

It’s that time of year again! On Feb 3, 2013 all eyes will be one Super Bowl. This year’s matchup between the AFC Champion Baltimore Ravens and the NFC Champion San Francisco Forty Niners is shaping up to be a game for the ages.

Think about some of the story lines for this Championship Game:

Ray Lewis, Linebacker for the Ravens, has announced his retirement after this game. Will he go out on top?
Brother vs Brother – The 2 Head Coaches – Jim and John Harbaugh – will experience the ultimate Sibling Rivalry competing for the much coveted Lombardi Trophy
Will the 49ers controversial switch at Quarterback to Colin Kaepernick pay off with a win?
What will be the best commercial?
How many chicken wings will you eat?

There is no doubt that the Super Bowl is an extremely popular event. Last year over 111 Million people tuned in to watch it. Yes, there is a big draw to watching oversized men hitting each other at full speed while in pursuit of the ultimate reward…and no doubt the bonus check that comes with it.
That gets me thinking about what lessons we can learn from the Super Bowl. Here are just a couple I can think of:

1. TEAMWORK. No team gets to the pinnacle with just one person. There is a common saying “There is no ‘I” in T-E-A-M”. In other words, each member of the team relies on everyone else. Think about it. If the Quarterback can’t trust his Offensive Line he is doomed. If that same line can’t make a hole for Ray Rice to run through he will not have success. The Offense needs to rely on the Defense to stop the other team from scoring. And of course the entire team needs to trust their coach to call the right plays for success.

In MLM it is similar. We all need to rely on our other team members for success. Look to your upline for tips on succeeding. Ask the advice from other reps and learn from their experience.

2. STRATEGY! Each team has been watching game films of the other team looking for weaknesses. Based on this they come up with a game plan. Teams that don’t follow the game plan usually fail.
